Went in for the first day, had my working permit done, apply for new studio (have to wait till the new building finish, end of the year), fill in the info for my business card... and also get myself a mailbox for memo.
Everything seems kinda smooth, nothing special. The head of activities office prepare me a desk and a computer at their office... thanks, but I prefer to do my work somewhere until I get my own studio. I need more private time and of couse quiet time to do all the planning.
Met up with this new friend... from China, came all the way just to take lesson with Shyen. Went out for dinner, meet other Chinese that study at MUIC... hmm... is really different, compare us (Malaysia or Singapore) to the mainland chinese. ha. Again, i'm in this Chinese thing again. hahaha
Basically nothing much, arrive college everyday around 10 or 11, do some planning for the congress and competition, then practise a bit, and head home. Of course, also spent some time to help my friend for her thesis proof reading... Hey, please, next time do put in all the foot note, so that I wont have to spent time to find and check your info.
Went out to Bangkok last Thursday... had the 'best' kuey zap (one kind of thai noodle) at Victory Monument, spent some time walking at that area, to check out the congress site. We are planning to do the world saxophone congress at one of the new hotel there. Then went to watch this... '28 weeks later'... The soundtrack is great, but I really don't like the story, just like how I dont like the Resident Evil. hahahaha
Went to Siam Discovery, of course, to get myself a coffee at 'Au Bon Pain', my favourite coffee shop. hahaha... spent like 2 hours there reading some magazine. Went to Kinokuniya as well, spent another 2 hours reading again. Haha.... finally still bought myself a book. kekeke
Right before I ordered my food, then Jie called me. A friend of mine, great harpist... Finally decided to have dinner together. Nice chat with her, sure will spent more time with her while I go in to town again sometime. (thought she is from China, but Shanghai. hahah, is different...maybe because she stay Germany for long time?)
New life, from student to an instructor... seems to be the same, except that I have to attend the instructor meeting.... which seems to be boring... ha
