Relax...

Finished my TOEFL test two weeks ago, handed in my Proposal for my graduation recital last friday... anymore deadline? Yes, 15th December, for my comprehensive. Hoo...

The Asian Symphonic Band Competition just finished yesterday... Got some friends from Malaysia here to visit, hang out with them a bit, went to JJ market, shopping, gossip, eating. Haven't been doing this for long. So, friends, please come and visit me. hahah!!!

The band competition... was a bit dissapointed for the result. The winner played well, but i feel the second band played better, in terms of the balance of the ensemble, the shaping of the phrase, interpretation. Anyway, i'm not the judge... and first prize really means nothing sometime. If you play well, people will recognize it.

So... this week should be kinda relax for me... just do some practise, and also think of where to go for this Saturday, to celebrate my friend's birthday. haha... drinking time?

Life...

Sorry for not able to update much recently...

I was back Bangkok for this SAYOWE stuff... lots of achievement, lots of work, and of course, lots of problem!!! I'm happy to meet those coming back again, and to meet some new face. Really great to see the band and orchestra work hard for the concert! Bravo for the musicians!!!

Not to mention those problems, but here i'm to tell my decision... NO MORE SAYOWE, for me. No more as musician, no more as staff... but yes for an audience.

Then i'm working for this INTERASIA Conductors' Symposium... Nice to meet Shuichi again, and of course, nice to see Ng Hoe again as well. I'm glad that i'm involved with this symposium... get to know many peoples, and make some friends. And thanks for Dr. James McRoy. Great to meet you, and thanks for the offer to study at Long Island Uni. I will work hard so that i can be there for next fall.

On Sunday 29th, 10:30am, while i'm at China Town with Ng Hoe, received a sms from my mum, 'Grandmum rest in peace, be home asap'. One hour later, i'm at the new Bangkok airport, holding a standby ticket, waiting to get on board to back home. I reached home 10+pm... Sad for cant see my grandmum for last time, but also glad that she doenst need to suffer anymore. Grandmum, you are always in my heart, no matter where i'm, what i'm doing...

Life... always full with surprise... you can't guess what's coming... but also dont quit, and stuck there... life still need to move one, no matter how.
